District Governor Elect for 2009 / 10
Anne and Herman have been married for 27 years and have
two children Charlotte (22) and Carel (20). Herman is a dentist in
private practice in Klerksdorp.
Anne is a MBA graduate trained as an accountant and
computer systems analyst and designed and implemented electronic skills
audit systems in the local government sector. She sold her business in
2006 and is currently in property development.
Anne joined the Rotary club of Orkney in 1994 and was
president in 1999/2000 and 2006/2007. She is serving in her second year
as District Chair: Interact. Anne maintains that to date the highlight
of her Rotary experience was attending the Rotary World Convention in
Mexico City.
Herman and Anne are both actively involved in their
church and the Klerksdorp community. They enjoy travelling and cycling.
